Swarnim Educational and Welfare Association is an NGO striving to advance children’s rights and equality for girls, thus creating a lasting impact in the lives of vulnerable and excluded children and their communities. We at Swarnim vowed to put an end to this widespread violation of people’s fundamental rights, especially of women and children residing in the slums of metropolitan cities. We aim to empower them through education and employment by implementing models of development that are tailored to the needs of the community.
Swarnim Educational and Welfare Association is a Delhi-based NGO formed by a group of socially committed young professionals in 1999. Swarnim Educational and Welfare Association was formally registered under the Indian Trust Act 1882. Since its inception, Swarnim Educational and Welfare Association has been working directly with the community, particularly with women and children, struggling with poverty, social exclusion, and gender injustice. Keeping them in the focus Swarnim Educational and Welfare Association is working for the all-around development by ensuring their rights within the human rights approach.
